Board and Committees
The Lifescape Villas Homeowners Association (LVHOA)
Board of Directors and Association's committees are dedicated to
execute the terms of the Association's Covenants, enhance the
members quality of living, protect personal safety and maintain
property value in Lifescape Villas.
The Board of Directors help in the establishment
of policies and operations of committees. It provides a framework
to clarified roles and responsibilities of committees, develop
volunteerism and committee participation and provide assistance to
chair and members of committees.
Various committees manage specific areas of
activity for Association members. Committees are made up of
volunteer homeowners who serve as chairpersons and members.
Committees are organized into Groups so several committees with
interrelated functions can cooperate between themselves. The Board
of Directors directs and oversees the functioning of the
committees. The annual budget stipulates the funds available to
each committee to spend on its activities for the year. Committees
hold meetings on a monthly basis or as needed.
Committee functions include: organize social and
sport activities for all ages, welcome newcomers, disseminate useful information to the membership thru
the newsletter and Web site, organize a Neighborhood Watch, support
charitable activities, ensure proper upkeep of the facilities and
grounds (including common outdoor areas, pool and playground),
implement Architectural Control guidelines and represent the
community interest to local authorities.
Board meetings are scheduled
for the 4th Thursday of each month. HOA members are invited,
however, space is limited to about 3 non-board members. Requests to
attend must be in writing or e-mail to the Board three working days
in advance of the meeting. Board meetings usually last two hours.
